Version 1.2.0 is finally here, and there's a lot to go over for what's been added! First, let me start with this;

DISCLAIMER, There are a few known bugs with this version, specifically with the Male Clothing and stuff like that. Those will be specified later on-

Also, V1.2.1 is released and fixes a few tiny bugs, plus a new test Options menu I'm still working with

EMMY EPISODE 1: TO THE POOL

This one ended at around 688 lines of dialogue, so about mid range on length compared to the rest. In this one, you and the OG's take a trip to the pool!

REVIEW

I think this one came out pretty well, there's a good amount of backstory, lore, and some "secret" paths to find. It also introduces a new character, Ocean, who works as the lifeguard at the city pool.

I originally had planned for this one to be a bit more fleshed out, but it is what it is haha I hope people enjoy it as an introduction to Emmy and her episodes!

ADDED STUFF

NEW MALE CHARACTER ARTWORK

I FINALLY went through and fixed the Male artwork, so now the clothing looks a lot less twinkish. Originally I was lazy and all I did was convert the female clothing to male, so that's why it used to look like that. However, with this change, you may see some changes with your current wardrobe. This also introduced some issues with shops, but that will be discussed later. Next update will include more items for the male character so that it will match the amount that female is able to buy!

GIRLFRIENDS

At long last! This game is finally an actual dating simulator! In this update, ALL meetable characters are also datable. This means you can take them on a first date, and if compatible, you can enter a relationship with them. All this currently means is that they will be hanging out at your apartment from time to time, and you also get a few dialogue options with them.

In the future, you will be able to have more in-depth discussion with them, as well as take them on dates. With this update, the characters are now able to ask YOU out as well! If you meet their stat requirements and max out their mood, they have a chance of doing this after you say bye to them in normal dialogue.

Also, in options, I added a "Soft Breakup" option for those who maybe don't want the game to be that stressful. With dating added, it also alters some of the current paths in the episodes. The characters will not do certain things with you depending on in you're in a relationship or not.

EMOJIBLAST

A new App has been added, EmojiBlast! With this, you can add character, and send emojis back and forth. It's a bit simple right now, but is built to potentially be expanded upon later. Using this can boost a characters mood, and this can sometimes alter episodes and things like that.

When you start, you will not have any friends added. As you meet characters and communicate with them, you can ask for their username. Once added, you can start to communicate with them, but be careful what you send!

NEW CHARACTER: OCEAN!

Ocean, who is pictured above, is the only new character arriving for this episode. She is the lifeguard of the city pool, and is considered a bit Hard. That's kinda of it, go meet her!

OTHER NEW STUFF

I actually can't remember everything that has been added this season. There is new microwave food artwork! Uh I guess that's it for now, my head hurts-

CHANGES!

A few changes to note, incase something has changed and you're like "what the fuck".

• Episode paths have been modified to reflect the new dating feature. So, for example, Grace won't ask you to crash in her room if she knows you are in a relationship. Later, this will reflect more paths but right now I just wanted to get the update out.
• Characters now have unlockable "secrets", these are special things that can happen during the course of gameplay. These can be something like if you learn something about a character, this could now affect other paths later on.
• Obviously with the change to the Male clothing, this may modify some of your outfits. Oops!

KNOWN BUGS

• Male is still a little bit broken, and I'm working it out. Until both Male and Female have the same amount of clothing options, it's gonna be a bit tough to get it all working, but it should all be fixed by next update. What I've encountered is when clicking on items in Clothing Cartel, it does not create the clothes on the mannequin. Occasionally, an item will not match the actual item you put on.
• There may be some inconsistencies with endings and paths, as they are becoming a bit hard to test (there's too damn many!). New episodes will be written to make this not as much as an issue, at least not something I need to go back and fix.

THE FUTURE!

Currently, the plan is to start work on Emmy Episode 2 and 3. The next big update will include a complete Male wardrobe so that it matches the quantity of the Female wardrobe. I also want to redo the Options menu system, so that will look very different. Anyway, that's about it for this update I think, I hope it's good!
